Dear Mr Jim Clarke. My name is Sarah Waite, and my father, Arthur Brian Whitehead was also a Chindit in The Kings (Liverpool) in Burma. He was with 81 column. Sadly he passed away 5 years ago without every talking to us about this and I would so love to be in touch with you if you perhaps knew him. He received the MC for holding out against the Japanese at Whitehead hill, Blackpool. We found so many things in a box after he died which kindled my interest in this and I have been fascinated finding out as much as possible. My email address is 2376sarah@gmail.com if you would find it at all possible to be in touch I would appreciate it so much. Regards, Sarah
