I was just being nostalgic and browsing to see if there where other vetrans who visited Cassino last year as I dad with my father last August !
He sadly passed away on 16th Nov and I was so glad he got to make that wonderfull trip .

Very interested in the article about cassino. My uncle served there 1944 – Lance corporal Dewi West 3rd battalion Welsh Guards from Swansea. I wonder if anyone remembers him? Sadly killed on 5th June 1944 apparently by German plane. He is buried in Naples war cemetery. One of the old heroes. God Bless.

If anyone has information I would be pleased to hear from you – rogerwest615@live.co.uk
